Set start layout based on default layout

How to set the layout Zellij starts in based on the default layout?

Particularly, I want to start Zelllij in the horizontal layout, which is the second one. In other words, I do not want to run NextSwapLayout every time I open a new tab.

Ideally, I would not have to copy-paste the current default layout only to change the order of the first two layouts.

For reference, here is my current default layout:

For reference, my current configuration modifies the default layout by hard-coding it: trueNAHO/dotfiles@c725e53.

it's unclear to me how to get the tab bar, etc in compact and default. so I'm looking for something similar. Is it possible to toggle this somehow?
