Sorry I couldn't make that strat call; and the conclusion from the call misses some important context. I can't agree with the wording of this PR. As an example the proposed Math WG charter has no background/motivation section. It does however, right there in the Scope section, have a sub-section on background/motivation. So this is nothing to do with new group/old group. It comes from AC feedback about keeping the Scope section tight and focused for legal review, and putting all the explanation in another section. |
