I just noticed you set up this repository with a gh-pages branch using the Cayman theme. I'm not sure if you saw, but someone just recently ported this to jekyll. Jekyll allows you to create some templates etc. and then author content in markdown. It uses "liquid" to inject your rendered markdown etc. into html templates. It's pretty easy to get started with, and github will automatically build and deploy your jekyll project for you if you put it in the gh-pages branch. Here is the jekyll Cayman theme: https://github.com/pietromenna/jekyll-cayman-theme

You may have a tool like dreamweaver etc. that you are happy with for working directly with HTML. I just wanted to point you towards the jekyll implementation in the event that it interested you.
