Draper Associates is a seed stage venture fund in Menlo Park, CA. We invest globally in great teams of people creating revolutionary companies in new media, gaming, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, security, and mobile. Our portfolio companies are disrupting markets in the tens of $billions and are on a clear path to later rounds of fundraising. Big companies. Big ideas. We're here to help.
We typically invest in the earliest round, in syndicate with other sophisticated investors. We're comfortable leading in dollars and terms, or simply participating. We view our role as stewards: help where and when asked to get our portfolio companies to a later stage of growth and institutional capital, otherwise stay out of the entrepreneurs' way. While each investment is unique, we often help our portfolio with their business development, later stage capital raising, strategy, hiring, employee options, valuations, and M&A.
