This is already being offered for the x64 installation with winget, but it's not available for x86 yet.

You sure? There is a x86 option in the manifest here:

@kris6673 that's interesting! In my winget list output I have the following:

Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime - 9.0.1 (x64)                  Microsoft.DotNet.DesktopRuntime.9                                9.0.1            winget
Microsoft Windows Desktop Runtime - 9.0.0 (x86)                  Microsoft.DotNet.DesktopRuntime.9                                9.0.0            winget

Update for x64 was installed already, but it's not finding it for x86.

Also no further available updates are shown when running winget upgrade right now.

For the manifest, I was going to add AppsAndFeaturesEntries, but there are already AppsAndFeaturesEntries.

@DuckDuckStudio that does not work either.

winget upgrade upgrade -a x86
No installed package found matching input criteria.

The same issue is now also occurring with Microsoft.DotNet.DesktopRuntime.8
x64 got updated from 8.0.11 to 8.0.12 but the x86 version isn't detecting the update.

I am also not seeing the updates when running winget from the the x86 version of PowerShell.
