Adding of Semantic versioning options in configuration

Hi,

Is it possible to add one or more parameter in configuration where semantic versioning can be set to true/false as per need and also possibility to pass the semver labels like "major", "minor" or "patch". In current scenario, if we deploy any artifact with snapshot = true, then semver increments using label "patch" only. It would be great to have possibility to configure semantic versioning.
