Events spanning multiple days - show as one event

Hi,
Great little gem by the way and found it really easy to get up and running.

If it's possible, how would I get an event spanning multiple days to be displayed as one element? I know that the calendar is a table so each day is a element but currently if I pass in start and end ranges, I get my event details showing in each individual (day).

Can I do some sort of 'colspan' so the event is displayed across the entire date range? Don't know how this would work when we move down to the next row etc.?
