Standalone Datadog Statsd Server

Hi - is it possible to only run the Datadog Statsd Server in forwarder mode? I see that Dogstatsd is available as a standalone image here: https://github.com/DataDog/datadog-agent/tree/main/Dockerfiles/dogstatsd/alpine but needs the DD_API_KEY.

I understand that the server is meant to work with Datadog service, and needs to key for the same. But it would be great to not have that requirement - which allows us to use the Datadog statsd client + server independently of singing up for an account.
